Frances McDormand in Nomadland on Hulu Worth a Pre-Academy Award Watch: Film Nominated for Best Picture
As we get closer to the Academy Awards on April 25th, there is still time to watch some of the movies nominated in the Best Picture category.
One of the nominated films, which you can watch from the comfort of your own home, is Nomadland starring Frances McDormand on Hulu. The movie focuses on a woman who gives up her traditional home to live in her van. Some have called the movie a look at a forgotten part of America. It is worth watching to gain perspective on how some people in the United States live in their vehicles, and the daily challenges they deal with.
With recent success at the BAFTAS last week, some believe Nomadland is the favorite to win movie of the year.
