¡Felicidades! Mexico’s Andrea Meza Crowned Miss Universe: We Look Back to Meeting Miss Universe 2017
Last night, the world watched as Mexico’s Andrea Meza became Miss Universe 2021. At the pageant’s festivities was 2017 Miss Universe/past CYInterview guest, Demi-Leigh Tebow née Nel-Peters [see here]. Ms. Tebow hosted this year’s preliminary events with Miss Universe 2019, Zozibini Tunzi. Those events took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
In 2018, Demi-Leigh made an appearance in North Las Vegas, at The Shade Tree and gave a speech on self-defense. See our photo above with her from that event. The Shade Tree provides shelter for abused women, children and the homeless. The event was held in conjunction with the UFC and their International Fight Week events.
Demi-Leigh is now married to former football star/Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow, who we met at his celebrity golf tournament back in 2014 [see here]. The couple wed last year in South Africa.
Congratulations to new Miss Universe Andrea Meza! We hope your reign takes you to many great places.
