Chris Yandek is Back Talking College Football: Reviews His Correct Prediction of Clemson Victory, Breaks Down Upcoming 2017 Season
This past Monday evening, Clemson defeated Alabama to win the College Football Playoff National Championship. That bore out the prediction that our Editor in Chief and sports commentator Chris Yandek made when we spoke about the big game[see here] as well as when he discussed the Championship game with veteran college football magazine editor and expert Phil Steele [see here].
Though we are eight months out from the start of the next season, we welcome back Chris to give us his never too early thoughts on the 2017-2018 college football season.
We discussed the following topics:
Clemson: Will they repeat as national champions?
Alabama: Can the offense be fixed?
Florida State: Can they really do better with running back Dalvin Cook gone?
USC: Are they on the verge of being a prominent program again?
Penn State: Are they back after winning the Big Ten?
Ohio State: Will they get over the hurdle with JT Barrett back at quarterback?
Michigan: Are they the most prominent team with the biggest question mark of what to expect?
Oklahoma: Can quarterback Baker Mayfield lead them to the promise land?
Wisconsin: Will their favorable schedule help them in the Big 10 to take the next step?
Florida: Can Florida do better than 9 or 10 wins?
Washington State: With quarterback Luke Falk returning, is this going to be the best Cougar team Mike Leach has had?
