Chef Lanny Chin of Soon to Be Opened Greene St. Kitchen at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Tells Us Why The Restaurant Will Be Unique, What to Expect, More
Next month at the Palms Hotel and Casino, a new restaurant will open as part of the ongoing renovation of the resort, which is west of the Las Vegas Strip. The restaurant, Greene St. Kitchen, will have a diverse menu, along with a 1980s New York SoHo theme, complete with street art. Also, expect to see some 1980s video arcade games there.
The restaurant will be headed up by Chef de Cuisine Lanny Chin. He told us he has been running kitchens for 20 years, but this new restaurant will be the biggest project he has ever worked on. Though there are many restaurants providing great dining experiences in Las Vegas, Chef Chin says they are going to stand out because Greene St. Kitchen will be unique.
As for the menu, expect everything from 24 oz. rib eye steaks to two-pound stuffed lobsters to sushi to vegan sliders.
The restaurant will be able to seat approximately 320 people.
Lanny just gained wide recognition, as he recently won an episode of the popular Food Network TV show Chopped. He is hoping to go back to compete in the show Chopped Champions, which features winners of episodes competing against each other. He joins us for a CYInterview to tells us everything to expect from his new restaurant, Greene St. Kitchen, and what it was like to win a Chopped competition.
