Canadian Geese Brave Cold Las Vegas in Water at The Mirage Hotel and Casino

Random, perhaps. This year, New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas was cold. However, Canadian Geese are a hardy bunch, after all, they hail from Canada, eh? In front of The Mirage Hotel and Casino, a gaggle of these geese swam in the waters by the resort’s waterfall.

We spotted a pair that we would have liked to CYInterview, but they were too busy gliding along. Vegas might be a bit chilly, yet it must be warmer than Canada. Brrr! The geese had plenty in common with the people in attendance at the Spacious NYE party at Fresh Wata that we attended [see here.] They were unfazed by the temperature and having lots of fun.

The waters of The Mirage are located by the resorts manmade volcano. Yes, you read that correctly, a volcano. Las Vegas is certainly the place to be in any weather. What are you waiting for?
