A Giant Change … to Las Vegas?
Today, there have been reports that Patrick Graham, the New York Giants’ defensive coordinator, is going to interview with our Las Vegas Raiders to take that position with the Silver and Black.
Mr. Graham had been interviewed by the Minnesota Vikings to become their head coach. However, that apparently did not pan out. So why might Mr. Graham be considering coming to Las Vegas?
Some might point to the fact that he and Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels are both alumni of the New England Patriots coaching staff. Yet, the same might be said of Mr. Graham and Giants head coach Brian Daboll.
Perhaps, and I am just making a conjecture, it is because Las Vegas is the Entertainment Capital of the World, a modern-day wonder of a city that continues to grow, develop and reinvent itself. Maybe, just maybe, that is the reason. Oh, and our real estate prices and cost of living are much better than the Northeast.
